The family of death-in-custody victim M Krishnan claimed his body from the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in Petaling Jaya today, following the completion of a second post-mortem yesterday.
The body was collected by family members, amid tears and painful wails, about 10.50am. It has been 15 days since the 37-year-old wireman was found dead in the Bukit Jalil police station lock-up on Jan 7.
His wife, P Revathi, 33 (right), was very distraught and fainted several times upon looking at the body.
Relatives, who declined to be named, said the findings of the post-mortem, which was completed at 3pm yesterday, would only be known on Monday.
