Cuban President Raul Castro and his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama will cross paths at the UN later this month, although no announcement has been made of a formal meeting. The Cuban president will be attending the UN General Assembly when a motion to demand the lifting of the U.S. economic blockade of the island is voted. The continued existence of the blockade and the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay are among the key remaining issues preventing full normalization between the two countries. teleSUR
