Maruti Baleno aka YRA India Launch on October 26

The much talked about Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which is currently being produced in India, will be launched in the country on 26th of next month. In the Indian market the car would take on the likes of Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20. In fact, the Baleno would be offered throughout the world by Suzuki, but the Indian variant will be a little bit different. The India spec Baleno would be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel engine while the internationally the car would be powered by a 1.0-liter Boosterjet engine.

In the Indian market the Baleno would be positioned right above the Maruti Suzuki Swift in the hatchback segment. It would have a more premium feel to it with things like Apple CarPlay, Steering mounted control, plush cabin etc.
