Smack dab in the center of the Florida Keys lies the city of Marathon, the hub of the Middle Keys. Offshore, Marathon is surrounded by two no-take zones belonging to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Also in the sanctuary is Marathon’s most popular wreck, the Thunderbolt, which happens to be one the Florida Keys’ oldest.
