We’re joined by host Meghan Tonjes. Check out more from her here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw1UfxJnp1HVvh_QzSbGkog

In this episode of Mushroom Chef Down, we’re checking out The Federal Bar in North Hollywood, where the Chef Grant Wagemaker is going up against Chef Ted Hopson. It's a Tasted Mushroom Chef Down. Which chef will prevail? Chef Wagemaker will be presenting beef short rib meatballs with risotto, where as Chef Hopson enters the ring with a beef tartare and mushroom chips.

Whose culinary magic will reign supreme? Hosts Ti and Meghan Tonjes will be the judges.

Which dish do you think you’d prefer? The beef tartare? Or the beef short rib meatballs? What’s your favorite way to use porcini mushroooms? Who do you think deserved to win this week’s Mushroom Chef Down?

A great chef can bring out the greatness locked within ingredients. So, in Mushroom Chef Down, we’re presenting chefs across Los Angeles with one of the most subtle and complex foods we could find (mushrooms!) and asking them to pair them with some of our favorite proteins. The chef that best showcases the ingredients wins the Chef Down, but we here at Tasted believe that we’re always winners, as long as there’s tasty food!
