Every Heartbeat

Every Heartbeat a child arrives, with the next, someone dies. Life is a continually repeating pattern of life and death, and although sometimes you may feel as though you are completely alone, you are not alone. We all share the same fate.

I've now written two not entirely different songs using the same music. I first wrote the lyrics to "So Alone", during a deep spell of depression, but felt the need to balance it with something more positive.

The two songs are the result of the dual nature of my being....a glimpse into the life of a person who is bipolar.

I hope you like it. Please support artists and buy the music you love. http://rickmccargar.bandcamp.com/track/every-heartbeat

lyrics
Every Heartbeat

Your heart sings, the moment it takes wings
Open to all, that life will bring

Through it all
You're not alone

With Every Heartbeat, a child arrives
With the next, someone dies.

Parents teach, you reach, it won't be long
Learn your lessons, and be on your own

Through it all
You're not alone

With Every Heartbeat, a child arrives
With the next, someone dies.

Left the house, that had been your home
Felt the need, to be free to roam

Through it all
You're not alone

With Every Heartbeat, a child arrives
With the next, someone dies.

Met someone, your heart beats fast
Soon your love, will grow to last

Through it all
You're not alone

With Every Heartbeat, a child arrives
With the next, someone dies.

Create a new beat, circle's complete
Along side you, two tiny feet

Through it all
You're not alone

With Every Heartbeat, a child arrives
With the next, someone dies.
