US Secretary of Energy optimistic on deal at Paris climate conference

Ernest Moniz, the US Secretary of Energy, spoke to FRANCE 24 at the COP21 climate conference in Paris. He is optimistic that a deal can be reached to limit global warming to 2°C.
"I want to really congratulate the French hosts for two things that are quite different now and I think very positive: one is coming into Paris with the declared targets of almost all the countries in the world; and then having the leaders kick it off and provide direction to the conference - I think those are both excellent ways to have us reach a good agreement on Friday", he told FRANCE 24's Marc Perelman.
