LIVE Donald Trump Reno Nevada Rally at The Nugget Casino - October 29, 2015
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appears at noon at the Nugget Casino, 1100 Nugget Ave., in Sparks today.
The appearance is Trump's first public rally since Wednesday's GOP debate and his first in Northern Nevada. Trump, who led the Republican nominees in polling since July, recently slipped to retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson nationally.
Doors for the public rally open at 10:30 a.m. with candidate scheduled to speak at noon.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks Thursday afternoon, in front of about 2,000 people.
Trump touched on issues like Iran and its nuclear deal, the economy and national debt, unemployment, taxes, immigration, health care, fellow GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and newly selected Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
While discussing job creation, he said, "I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created."
After his speech, he took questions from the crowd on topics like Israel, small business regulations, education and not taking a salary if elected president, instead possibly donating that money to the Wounded Warriors Project. When asked about marijuana, he said medical marijuana should happen, but then leaving the issue up to states for legalizing recreational marijuana.
When asked about a possible running mate, maybe a woman, he said the decision "is too soon" to make on who that candidate would be.
This was Trump's first visit to Northern Nevada since he began his presidential campaign.
Wednesday night he participated in a GOP debate in Boulder, Colorado. During his Sparks appearance, he mentioned that he "won every poll" conducted after the debate, including CNBC which aired the debate.
Protesters gathered outside Trump's campaign appearance to denounce what they say are his hateful views on immigration.
The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, a coalition of social and environmental justice groups, organized the protest complete with a Mariachi band. About two dozen demonstrators carried signs that read "Mr. Hate, Leave My State," and "No Human Being is Illegal."
Alliance director Bob Fulkerson says the billionaire's plan to build a wall along the Mexican border and deport all immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally would "rip families apart."
