The Matthew Shepard Story (A.J.)

The brutal 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Wyoming brought worldwide attention to "Hate Crime" legislation at the state and federal levels. The case also introduced many of us to Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church, now infamous for protesting at the funerals of homosexuals and spewing hate-filled speeches, carrying picket signs that say things like "God Hates Fags". I never fully understood the carrying of picket signs. As if any of the Phelps clan knows how to read.
