Ayesha Hamid hails from one of the strongest, educated business families of Lahore before and after partition. She has to her credit a double BA Honors in English Literature and Fine Arts as well as a Master Degree in English Literature from Pakistan. Her education career developed further in various universities of the USA where she was able to accomplish 5 Masters in various fields of education and business administration and than she went on to procure the highest certification from the department of education as US certified principal and Superintendent of Schools.
She has the sole prestige of being the only Pakistani woman entrepreneur to have achieved this certification in the Entire South East Asia Region. As an educationist and social worker she has been working in 26 different forums and NGO’S like Open Lahore Pakistan, Millenium Welfare Society, Khatija Welfare Society,Baba Guru Nanak University,Business Forum of Punjab,ETPB,ACIA College and American Business forum to help the people of Pakistan, specially the youth at all forums.
She has developed the careers of thousands of young men and women to date. To name of few of her successful students, they are today doctors,engineers,civil servants, in the armed forces, parliamentarians, business entrepreneurs, psychologists, artists, architects, social workers, farmers and agriculturists, and the list goes on and on.
She has to her credit an International School and College which are running on philanthropic fee structure and her own endowment funds. These institutions are for students from all sectors of the society irrespective of cast, color, creed, religion or socioeconomic background.
After having lived in the USA for nearly 20 years, her decision to come back to serve her nation and its people brought her into the realm of business and struggle for realization her dream began in 1986 when she established her Cotton Ginning Factory and then again in 1996 when she established her International School and College for Regular, Gifted and Special Students.
Today she has gone global and expanding her business in various countries under the banner of ASIA School PVT LTD. She launched this business plan 2 years ago and had success in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Tbilisi Georgia. Her future plans are directed toward Canada, Egypt, Oman, India, Bangladesh and Srilanka in the coming years. Along with education she is diversifying as an entrepreneur into trading and export.
