Did author/activist "Erin Merryn" provide a reporter with false information?

This brief clip and the transcript below are from "Erin Merryn on the Current State of Erin's Law in Alaska" by staff reporter Caroline Flynn that aired May 21, 2015 on "Your Alaska Link." Here's the original story: http://tinyurl.com/kdldy73

Flynn: (Erin) remembers early on a (school) superintendent who said he would never have the Erin's Law curriculum taught in his school.

Erin: Three weeks later, front page of the paper, the name of his school, a coach being arrested for molesting several 14-year-old girls. I contacted him immediately and I said, "Oh, really not a problem in your school?" His response back: "My daughter's one of the victims."

I was unable to locate any related media reports about would likely have been a widely-reported story, so on May 23, 2015 I e-mailed a polite inquiry to "Merryn" (real name: Erin MacLean) requesting basic facts about her claim: the name of the school district, the name of the superintendent, the name of the newspaper and the approximate date of the article. In a same-day e-mail, much to my surprise MacLean wrote me that if I contacted her again, she would report me "to the authorities."
