THE WASTELAND — A man is suing the publisher of a popular video game because playing too much of it has cost him his wife, job and health.

Released in November, Fallout 4 is video game set in a world devastated by nuclear war, where the player struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic Boston and battle against a myriad of horrors.

According to RT, the 28-year-old from Siberia claims his problems started after he began playing the game. Over a three-week period, the unnamed man claims it caused his relationship to fall apart, as well as causing his health to deteriorate due to a lack of sleeping and eating. He was also fired from work because of his absenteeism due too much time playing the game.

But instead of taking responsibility, he's decided to lawyer up and sue the game's publisher, Bethesda, for 500,000 roubles (which is worth about $7,000) for emotional distress.

The lawsuit will be somewhat of a test case in Russia, because there's never been something like it previously and the man's lawyers want to see how far it'll go.

But if the judge has any sense he'll Fus. Roh. Dah the case, mini-nuke that lawsuit and tell this feral Diamond City junky to sort his life out.
