सातवें दिन जैसे ही राजा भोज दरबार में पहुंचे और सिंहासन की तरफ बढ़े सातवीं पुतली कौमुदी जाग्रत हो गई और राजा से बोली, 'हे राजन, इस सिंहासन पर बैठने की जिद त्याग दो। इस सिंहासन पर वही बैठ सकता है जो राजा विक्रमादित्य की तरह गुणवान हो। अगर तुम में उनकी तरह एक गुण भी हो तो अवश्य इस सिंहासन पर बैठना।
