Twenty Eighth statue Vaidehi told the story-

once the king Vikramaditya was in deep sleep in his bedroom. He had a dream. there was one palace which is studded with gem ,ruby. In the palace there was a big bedrooms which is Decorated several supernatural things. all the site of the palace there was a garden, this garden is look beautiful because thousand of flowers. Those flowers - like butterflies hovering and whirlpools hum permeates the whole garden . The fragrance of flowers spreads all around and the whole scene is very captivating . Clean and cool air flowing and at some distance from the castle is a yogi Sadnart. he see his own face on this man. Considering all this Vikram 's eyes were opened . They understood that they saw a good dream .

अट्ठाईसवीं पुतली का नाम वैदेही था और उसने अपनी कथा इस प्रकार कही- एक बार राजा विक्रमादित्य अपने शयन कक्ष में गहरी निद्रा में लीन थे। उन्होंने एक सपना देखा। एक स्वर्ण महल है जिसमें रत्न, माणिक इत्यादि जड़े हैं। महल में बड़े-बड़े कमरे हैं जिनमें सजावट की अलौकिक चीज़े हैं। महल के चारों ओर उद्यान हैं और उद्यान में हज़ारों तरह के सुन्दर-सुन्दर फूलों से लदे पौधे हैं। उन फूलों पर तरह-तरह की तितलियां मंडरा रही और भंवरों का गुंजन पूरे उद्यान में व्याप्त है। फूलों की सुगन्ध चारों ओर फैली हुई है और सारा दृश्य बड़ा ही मनोरम है। स्वच्छ और शीतल हवा बह रही है और महल से कुछ दूरी पर एक योगी साधनारत है। योगी का चेहरा गौर से देखने पर विक्रम को वह अपना हमशक्ल मालूम पड़ा। यह सब देखते-देखते ही विक्रम की आंखें खुल गईं। वे समझ गए कि उन्होंने कोई अच्छा सपना देखा है।
