Diane Kruger Biography

Diane Kruger is a German actress and fashion model. Originally Diane wanted to become a ballerina and managed to secure a place at the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London. After sustaining a nasty injury, she moved to Paris to start modelling but her attention turned to acting instead. Diane appeared in a few French films, before getting her break as Helen of Sparta, opposite Brad Pitt, in Troy in 2004. She has since appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (again with Brad Pitt), for which she picked up a SAG nomination, and Unknown, alongside January Jones. As well as her acting, Diane is known as a fashion icon, and is the muse of Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld. She is a brand ambassador for Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, Calvin Klein and L'Oreal. She was married to French actor Guillaume Canet but has been dating Joshua Jackson since their divorce in 2006.
