Ben Roethlisberger says he has torn ligaments in his shoulder

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said on his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh that, along with an AC joint sprain, he has torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder, the result of a tackle he sustained during the Steelers' wild card win over the Bengals.
The injury might cast doubt over Roethlisberger's ability to play Sunday when the Steelers take on the Denver Broncos in the divisional playoffs, but he said he expects to be able to play.
If he's able to get on the field, that's impressive, but against one of the league's top defense, having such a limitation won't help the Steelers achieve the kind of diversity that made them one of the best offenses in the NFL over the second half of the season.
