Amrita Rao, born on 17th June 1981, at Mumbai, is an Indian actress and model.
Amrita Rao is from a Chitrapur Brahmin family, and has a sister Preetika Rao, who is a well known communist, model and actress in south Indian films.
Amrita completed her schooling from Canossa Convent and moved on to join Sophia College where she enrolled for a course in psychology. While in college, she started auditioning for advertisements like Fairever Face Cream. Later she became a famous super model and has endorsed products like Cadbury, Bru coffee and has shot many commercials for print media and television media as well.
Amrita Rao has done many photo shoots and has acted in music video of Alisha Chinoy.
