Oliver Platt: I’m A Doctor For The Soul In ‘Chicago Med’ | TODAY

Versatile actor Oliver Platt is a star of “Chicago Med,” the newest addition to the “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago PD” TV drama franchise. “We’ve never really seen a psychiatrist in a medical procedural,” Platt tells TODAY’s Willie Geist and Al Roker, saying he was intrigued by the possibility of playing a “doctor for the soul.” He also talks about the intriguing possibility of crossover stories between the three Chicago-set procedurals from producer Dick Wolf.
