NOTICE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HOW CLEAN AND UNUSED IT APPEARS AND THE DECALS AND FACTORY INSPECTION MARKINGS. THERE IS EVEN A FACTORY TYPE TAG ON THE STEERING COLUMN. THIS FRESH PAINT, INTERIOR, AND TRUNK AREA ARE LIKE BRAND NEW. NOTICE THE EQUIPMENT AND PRICE LISTING DISPLAYED IN THE TRUNK. A MIRROR POSITIONED BENEATH THE CAR SHOWS THE PRISTINE UNDERCARRIAGE. THE FORD TORINO WAS PRODUCED FROM 68 - 76 AND WERE MEANT TO EVENTUALLY REPLACE THE FORD FAIRLANE 500. THE 500 FOR A FEW YEARS ENDED UP BEING THE LOW END MODEL FOR THE TORINO. THERE WERE 13 MODELS ALTOGETHER BUT THE TORINO GT CAME ONLY IN THE SPORTS ROOF HARDTOP AND CONVERTIBLE. STANDARD FOR THE GT WERE HUBCAPS WITH WHEEL RINGS, GT EMBLEMS, DUAL COLOR KEYED SPORT MIRRORS, AND NON-FUNCTIONING HOOD SCOOP, AND BLACK DECKLID APPLIQUES. ALTHOUGH ENGINE OPTIONS RANGED FROM THE SMALL BLOCK 302, 390, OR FOR TORINO COBRAS, A 351 CLEVELAND ENGINE OR 428 COBRA JET/SUPER JET, THIS GT IS POWERED BY THE 429 CID, 7 LITRE ENGINE. THE SHOES ON THIS GT ARE F70-14 TIRES WITH RAISED WHITE LETTERS. THE CURB WEIGHT, DEPENDING ON ENGINE SIZE, RANGED FROM 3,116 - 3774 POUNDS. MOTOR TREND MAGAZINE VOTED THE 70 FORD TORINO AS CAR OF THE YEAR.
