You Can Now Finally Register For A 'Nintendo Account' And Pre-Register For 'Miitomo'

While Nintendo launched their unified Nintendo Account last year in Japan, as of today the service has been opened up worldwide including per-registration for Miitomo as well.
This is part of an ongoing logistical process on the part of the company to unify their community backend through social media, consoles, PC and mobile.
As big things are afoot in the next few months in terms of Nintendo’s move into mobile, it’s clear that with the rolling out of this unified Nintendo Account worldwide they are trying to get their ducks in order.
This is because the first major mobile app from Nintendo will be Miitomo out in March, which sounds more about building a community than being an actual game.
