X Factor is not about only trained professional singers, but it's about giving chance to the ones with a zeal and passion for music. Deewana Group enters the recording room for the first time with dreams and expectations in their eyes. They amaze the Judge Gurus and get a standing ovation. After them the Judge Gurus witness a plethora of good performances and they enjoy the day. The performers awaited their destiny and the Judge Gurus come up with the result of top 26 in their hands. Then there were tears all around, some of sadness and some of happiness. After this round, the selected top 26 performers move on to the next round where they will prove there mettle on the beaches of Goa. The performers have fun in the holiday atmosphere of Goa, unaware of what awaits them in the next round after which the Gala round will begin with the top 12.

Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor.
