Adele helps fan propose to her boyfriend on stage

A sweet video has emerged from the first night of Adele's world tour - in Belfast, Northern Ireland - showing her helping a fan propose to her boyfriend on Monday's 'leap day'.

The video, captured by a fan, shows one fan come up to celebrate a birthday before Hayley from Essex climbs onstage and proposes to boyfriend Neil. Adele had called out for fans wanting to do it.

She led the crowd in shouts of encouragement and asked for an invite to the wedding, before Neil eventually nodded yes - having said 'maybe' earlier.
