The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse is an animated American t.v. anthology series which is an updated version of the Mighty Mouse cartoons of the 40-60s and ran as part of the The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle Cartoon Hour. The new t.v. series was produced by Filmation and aired from 1979-1980 on CBS with over 48 episodes produced. In addition to the t.v. series a limited theatrical release matinee movie, Mighty Mouse in the Great Space Chase, released December 10, 1982. In the Filmation series and movies Mighty Mouse and Oil Can Harry were voiced by veteran voice artist Alan Oppenheimer, and Pearl Pureheart was voiced by Diane Pershing.\r
