Two people in a light aircraft flying over Taichung County in Taiwan survive an emergency landing after the motor cuts out. They manage to glide a good distance over buildings and rice paddies and make it to a riverbed where the pilot manages to put the plane down on a sandbank.

They speak Chinese while flying but the photographer breaks into English after they successfully land. His relief is palpable as he exclaims 'We are f###ing alive!'
