A Russian Soyuz 2-1B rocket has successfully launched from Baikonur in Kazakhstan this evening, March 13th 2016 at 18:56 UTC. The rocket carried the Resurs-P Number 3 payload into orbit. The payload is the third in a series of Russian commercial Earth observation satellites capable of acquiring high-resolution imagery (resolution up to 1.0 m).
