Bangladesh stages 'Show Trial' of Pakistani Officers! Why?

Sheikh Hasina's govt in Bangladesh is encouraging a "Show Trial" of 195 Pakistani Officers on 26th March 2016. While this is not a court or tribunal and has no legal value but has serious implications for Pakistan. This political theater is being set up with a clear intention to inspire and encourage greater hatred against Pakistan and Pakistanis.
Research Society of International Relations (RISL) held a large convention in Karachi to demand Nawaz Govt's attention to these antics and to raise these issues at the level of UN. Ali Sultan, VP, RISL joined Moeed Pirzada in this discussion to explain that India, Pakistan and Bangladesh signed a tripartite agreement in 1974, in which all sides gave away their rights to try any prisoners. This 'Tripartite Agreement' took place in the context of several understandings. One, Pakistan and China agreed to let Bangladesh become a member of United Nations, which was hitherto blocked by the Chinese. Two, Bhutto agreed that Bangali civil and military officers incarcerated in Pakistan will not be tried for treason and will be released unconditionally. India became a guarantor of this arrangement and all Pakistani POW's including the 195, whom Awami League wanted to try were released back to Pakistan. More than 40 years down the line, Hasina Sheikh's government is doing these antics under Indian tutelage. It is important for Pakistan to remind the world that what happened in 1971 was an unfortunate civil war in which India played dirty role. Hundreds of Mukti Bahni operatives also did massive bogies of rape and killings and given the one sided narrative building by India and Hasina Govt it is important that Pakistan demand the trials of these 'Mukti Bahni' guerrillas as well. Some of whom later served at important positions in Bangladesh.
