She might not be as extreme as the wing-walking skydiver, but Hilda Pearson wins our "Bravest Granny of the Year" award. The 89-year-old woman took a 10,000 feet skydiving plunge in Australia to raise money for cancer research. Pearson decided to undertake the challenge after her daughter died from the disease one year ago.
