Freckles Comes Home (Mantan Moreland)

1942 directed by Jean Yarbrough starring Johnny Down, Gale Storm, Mantan Moreland, Irving Bacon, Bradley Page, Marvin Stephens, Betty Blythe and Walter Sande. Freckles, a college student, comes home to Indiana to help his friend and his friend’s friend, (who run his Uncle’s small hotel), out of some financial trouble. It turns out some gangster’s are holding up in the little town and trouble results.
