One-punch attack kills private school teen in drunken vacation melee

WINCHESTER, ENGLAND — A student at one of Britain's most exclusive schools was killed by one punch after telling his assailant: "One day you'll work for me." A UK inquest into the death of Archie Lloyd, 18, heard the Harrow School pupil died in the Greek resort of Malia on the island of Crete, the Telegraph reported. Lloyd was on a trip around Europe when he got into a drunken argument with club promoter Sebastian Trabucatti, 22, outside a nightclub on Aug. 6 last year. Winchester Coroner's Court heard Lloyd blocked the path of two women and Trabucatti as they tried to pass on quad bikes, according to the Telegraph. Lloyd's friend Andy Hutchinson told the court the 10-second altercation became heated when Lloyd told the quad bike riders to "f*** off." Trabucatti got off his bike and pushed Lloyd three times, sending him to the ground. Lloyd responded by shouting: "One day you'll work for me," before Trabucatti ran back and punched him. The inquest heard Lloyd banged his head on the sidewalk outside the Cloud Nine nightclub. One of the women on quad bikes was heard to shout: "You deserve that," before speeding away, according to the Telegraph. Lloyd was given the all-clear by paramedics and returned with friends to their rented villa but he was found dead in bed five hours later after falling asleep. The British coroner recorded a verdict of unlawful killing. Trabucatti has been charged with manslaughter in Greece and is likely to go on trial next year, the Telegraph reported.
