A team of employees are required to work in a building undergoing renovations with a deactivated sprinkler system and a known faulty gas line. Through a series of unexpected events, a janitor accidentally sets off a lethal explosive chain reaction throughout the building injuring and trapping several people. Michael and Colin are stuck on the 8th floor of the building, and it is up to firefighter Ray Vargas to find a way to bring them to safety. But when the structural safety of the 8th floor begins to waver, Colin, Ray and the others are thrown into an odyssey of fire and debris. Unsure of their fate, and with too much to lose, these men must fight to keep each other alive as they hunt for a way out from this deadly inferno.
