After undergoing training in cricket for MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, which is a biopic on the life of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sushant Singh Rajput will now undergo training in boxing for his upcoming film, which will be based on the life of Murlikant Petkar — India's first Paralympics gold medalist.

For those who do not know this, Murlikant Petkar, an Indian Army jawan, was a boxer before he was disabled during the 1965 War against Pakistan after sustaining severe bullet wounds. After he was crippled, he switched to swimming and other sports and also participated in table tennis at the 1968 Paralympic games and cleared the first round. He also won 4 medals in international events in swimming.

To prepare for his role, Sushant will reportedly train at the Bhiwani Boxing Club, where renowned sportsmen such as Akhil Kumar and Vijender Singh had also trained in the past.
