Facebook: We don't exclude conservative news from "Trending" feature

Facebook has responded to an article published by Gizmodo on Monday alleging that "curators" behind the social media giant's "Trending" feature on its homepage leave out topics popular among conservatives. “There are rigorous guidelines in place for the review team to ensure consistency and neutrality. These guidelines do not permit the suppression of political perspectives," the company said. For the record, one right-wing new site, Red State, felt it had always been treated fairly by Facebook.
