Kangana Ranaut To Play A Character Inspired By 'Fearless Nadia' In 'Rangoon'?

Though we have already reported that Shahid Kapoor will play an INA soldier and Saif Ali Khan will play an action hero in Rangoon, not much has been revealed about Kangana Ranaut's character in the film except for the fact that she plays a Broadway actress. However, we have now learned that the actress, who has been undergoing training in horse-riding and sword-fighting for the film, might be seen playing a character inspired by 'Fearless Nadia'. For those who do not know this, Fearless Nadia (Mary Ann Evans) was an actress and stunt-woman, who is mostly remembered for her role as the masked, cloaked adventurer in Hunterwali, which is considered to be one of the earliest female-oriented films. Rangoon is a love story set against the backdrop of the Second World War.
