Madrid, May 18 (EFE), (Camera: Raúl García).- Vicente del Bosque, Spain's coach, said on Tuesday he has not changed his mind on leaving his post after Euro 2016, which starts on June 10.

"I only have the power for the Euro at the moment," he replied when asked if he had changed his mind about continuing.

On the preliminary list of players he announced on Tuesday he stressed that preparing any list is tough because it involves making decisions about players.

"I have also experienced being left out of a competition and I put myself in the shoes of others," he said.

He expressed his pride at the performance of Spanish teams in European competitions, with Sevilla playing in the Europa League final and the Real Madrid-Atletico Madrid final in the Champions League, but regretted that this will force La Roja to train without its full squad until six days before the start of the Euro.

The Spanish coach revealed he did not have telephone conversations with any players except one, Sergio Asenjo, who is not on the preliminary list.

Spain is in Group D of Euro 2016, with the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia.
