South Africa's street racers participate in track event

South Africa's 'robot racers' take part in an event at Killarney race track outside Cape Town, burning rubber along the straight-line 400m course, which they cover in as little as nine seconds. The event was established to encourage young drivers away from illegal street racing, where young men often race each other away from the traffic lights, known as robots.
