Video released by Ohio's Columbus Zoo and Aquarium shows its seven-month-old polar bear cub learning how to fish.
Nora was born in November but only started fishing in early May, the zoo told Reuters.
In the video, the cub can be seen swimming in her pool chasing a school of trout. She is eventually successful, emerging from the water with a fresh fish in her mouth.
Nora had an uncertain start at the zoo after animal handlers found her mother was having difficulty caring for her, abandoning her for long periods of time. The zoo intervened and has been hand-rearing the cub since, according to the institution's website.
