Even though Henry James` famous story "The Turn of the Screw" is anything but an accessible read, it has inspired more film adaptations than any other other serious work of literature. In the 1996 version starring Patsy Kensit in the main role Henry James` Gothic tale has been re-situated in a modern setting. The narrator`s aristocratic employer comes along as a drug-addled Jet Set Hippie.
