Extreme flooding on a country road in Chelmsford, UK

Footage of seriously flooded country road in Chelmsford, Essex after a powerful thunderstorm hit the UK last night.

According to the filmer, the A414 from Chelmsford to Harlow was completely obstructed by water this morning.

"Cars were having to pull over, the water was so deep," Piers Symons wrote online.

Fortunately, his car was undamaged.

"We usually get flooding but this was extremely dangerous," he added.
