Rooster with one claw breaks its other claw to help it balance

Footage has emerged from China of a rooster with one claw who tried to break its other claw to help it balance.

The video, filmed in Jiyuan County, Henan Province last Thursday, shows the clawless bird trying to walk and balance normally.

According to local reports, the animal's right claw was broken when it got stuck in a cage, so it started to peck at its left leg to try and remove it for balance.
