The 1998 Hell in a Cell match was a professional wrestling match between The Undertaker and Mankind, later known as Mick Foley, of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and the third held inside the Hell in a Cell structure (two weeks following the second, which took place on the June 15 episode of RAW is WAR to promote the pay-per-view's dual main-event). The match took place at the King of the Ring pay-per-view on June 28, 1998 at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It would set the precedent for future Hell in a Cell matches. During the bout, Foley received numerous injuries and took two dangerous and highly influential bumps. Journalist Michael Landsberg called it "maybe the most famous match ever."
