A diver saw more than he bargained for while diving off the coast of Byron Bay on July 9. Steven Bock was exploring Julian Rocks, about a mile and a half out from land, and looking for nursing grey sharks when he spotted a great white in the distance. “We were on the hunt for nursing grey sharks, when we saw the great white shark,” Bock said. “Looking back, there were lots of fish around and then no fish because of the great white.” Credit: Steven Bock
