ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a decisive meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) in Islamabad today following his delayed return to the federal capital.
The topmost platform for civil-military coordination on security issues of the country deliberated on important internal and regional security issues soon after the meeting began early morning on Friday.
The NSC went over the National Action Plan, the progress of the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb and issues in extending the tenure of paramilitary forces in Karachi amid city’s grand operation against militants.
