CLEVELAND — The 2016 Republican National Convention was held this week at the Quicken Loans Arena, where billionaire Donald Trump was formally nominated the presidential candidate for the Republican Party.

The four day event was packed wall-to-wall with speakers from all across the conservative spectrum.

Day one got underway with Charles in Charge star Scott Baio giving a speech. The main speaker of the night was Melania Trump. Unfortunately after giving her talk, some in the media noticed that her speech had a striking resemblance to Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech from the Democratic National Convention. On Wednesday, Trump writer Meredith McIver, who wrote Melania’s speech, took the blame for the plagiarism.

UFC’s Dana White dropped by on day two to give his support for the real estate mogul. Chris Christie attacked Clinton with his time behind the podium, while Donald Trump Jr. also took to the stage to endorse his father.

Day three saw former rivals like Walker and Rubio endorsing Trump, but not Ted Cruz, who was booed off stage.

And of course the final speaker to wrap up the convention was the GOP presidential nominee himself, Donald J. Trump.
