The Rajasthan High Court (HC) acquitted actor Salman Khan in connection with the 1998 Black Buck poaching case on Monday. The actor and seven others had been accused of killing a blackbuck and a chinkara in two separate cases while shooting for the movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in the state. Khan had challenged a lower court's verdict that sentenced him to one year and 5 years of imprisonment under Wildlife Act for both the cases. The high court completed hearing the cases in the last week of May, but had reserved its decision for today.
