At least four people died after a building collapsed during an anti-encroachment drive in Meerut cantonment area this morning.
The cantonment board officials fled the place on seeing the collapsed building and the trapped people. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when officials reached the site and asked the people to vacate their homes.
