Facebook revamps its News Feed to bring you more "informative stories"

Facebook continues to revamp the way its news feed displays information by implementing a new “ranking signal” that can predict the type of stories users find most “informative, so that they appear higher on the News Feed." The social media giant carried out a user survey that asked each member to assess the stories in their feed and rank them on a scale of one to five. The results showed that users based their judgements on whether stories matched their interests and if it engages them in a broader discussion.
