Premiered in the Official Competition at the "International Film Festival of Gijon, Spain" where he has received on 1º Price in "Day of Asturias" section.

"The Tide" has competed for the "Golden Melie" in the Special competition of the "International Fantastic Film Festival in SITGES 2007."

The film has already won nearly a dozen International Awards.
