Car slips into lake because driver forgot to pull the handbrake

Footage has emerged from China of a car slipping into a lake because the driver reportedly forgot to pull the handbrake.
The video, captured in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province on August 7, shows the car reversing by itself down a slope into the lake while the driver and his passenger panic and try to stop it.
Later in the video, we also see the vehicle being lifted out of the water.
