NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — Mohammad Nestor Robinson failed to hold the door open for a woman, and it might have cost him his life.

Approaching midnight on August 27, Robinson was walking inside a McDonald’s in North Las Vegas on his break from work. A friend who was with him reported that as he walked into the fast food restaurant, a woman was walking out. When the door closed before she was able to leave, the woman exchanged a few choice words with Robinson. Moments later, the woman’s boyfriend allegedly came looking for Robinson in the parking lot, an altercation ensued, and Robinson was shot multiple times.

The 31-year-old father of four and stepfather to two more was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward. His family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for his funeral, while an investigation into the killing begins. There are no suspects identified at this time.
