U.S. is no longer home to world’s top university: rankings

For the first time a UK university tops the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in the 12-year history of the table. These are the top 5: 5- Massachusetts Institute of Technology 4- University of Cambridge 3- Stanford University 2- California Institute of Technology 1- University of Oxford: Oxford’s success can be attributed to improved performances across the four main indicators underlying the methodology of the ranking – teaching, research, citations and international outlook.
